Come tutti i paesi anche Pescosolido aveva i suoi Stabilimenti di beneficenza la cui commissione amministrava i beni delle Cappelle del SS. Sacramento, del Purgatorio, del 55 Rosario, di 5. Giovanni ad in un secondo tempo quello di S. Colomba.
Era alla diretta dipendenza del Consiglio generale degli Ospizi. (Napoli)
Decaduto il regno Borbonico, assume il nome di Congrega di Carità.
Aiutava i poveri più notevoli e reggeva il piccolo ma utile ospedale il cui fabbricato si trovava al lato della Chiesa al Colle S. Giovanni e distrutto dal terremoto del 1915.
Nell'anno 1938 prese il nome di E. C. A. (Ente Comunale Assistenza). Mentre prima i proventi erano scarsissimi ed erano ricavati dagli irrisori canoni su alcuni terreni, oggi invece riceve gli aiuti dalla Prefettura per alleviare i dolori dei poveri, dei disoccupati e per venire incontro alle necessità più urgenti dell'Amministrazione Comunale.
Ha una amministrazione a sè, indipendentemente dal bilancio locale.
È composta dal presidente dal Segretario e da 4 membri elettI dal consiglio Comunale ed in carica 4 anni.

It helped the most notable poor men and it held up the small one but profit hospital whose built
the side of the Church was found to the Hill S. Giovanni and destroyed by the 1915 earthquake.
In the year 1938 takings the name of E. C. A. (Corporate body Town Assistance). While first the
proceeds were scarce and you/they were drawn by the derisive canons on some terrestrial ones,
instead it receives today the helps from the Prefecture to assuage the pains of the poor men,
of the unemployed and to meet the most urgent necessities
of the Town administration.
It has an administration to itself, independently from the local budget.
It is composed from the president from the Secretary and from 4 members elected by the Town suggestion
and reigning 4 years.
